Nature Tots

On this day we learned about the SUN. We made sparkly stars because the sun is a star. We felt the difference between a balloon filled with air and water, because the sun is filled with gas. Then we made the earth out of play dough and had the flash light shine on it like the sun would. Dexter was upset because his flashlight wouldn't work. We then made shade out of the sheet and played a little parachute. We also painted planets around our sparkly stars. Dexter was helping another boy with his. We then went to the butterfly garden and the highlight was actually touching a butterfly. I was surprised they were actually able to do it!!!
