Alex is excited to learn how to blow a balloon. She blows it up and lets it go for Dexter to catch and then repeats herself. Byron got her started and then left me to the hard part of explaining how to hold it so the air won't escape to make it bigger. Paulina is spending hours doing puzzles. Starfall is her other past time of choice. She is finally settling down to a few things she enjoys. She likes when she is in charge of a new skill. Oh, and she is mastering using the potty at least at home. She has it down. I found a bribe of chewing gum was very helpful which also helps Alex refrain from sucking her thumb. Too bad Paulina swallows the gum half the time.
Dexter still likes to write everywhere. His new fun is getting into Byron's Armoire and taking the spare batteries out of it. I am teaching him to put them back. He also loves climbing in our bed to leap on someone and sliding down.
