You know that song "Maria" in the Sound of Music. Well I used to sing that song all the time using "Paulina" to help me keep my cool. I hear the 2ND child is more challenging, and she lived up to it. My biggest gripe was when she ripped books, but thankfully she has stopped that. She is maturing nicely and to me is the cutest thing. She is super polite. She even got her big sister to regularly use her please and thank yous because we made such a big deal that she said it all the time. She plays hard to get a lot and doesn't conform to your requests right away. Giving affection is a game to her. She doesn't always give hugs and kisses readily, but when she does they mean so much. She likes to test her limits. When she was scolded, she would look at you with a mischievous smile and continue with the misdeed. Even though she rarely does that anymore, she still finds a way to get into things when you're not looking. For when she is caught she'll tell us "No eating the candy or No jumping on the couch or No getting into Mommy's make-up". She knows what's expected, but still has a hard time from stopping herself from what she really wants to do. She is Curious George and whenever there is silence in the house, I rush to see where Paulina is and a mess usually follows. She is so much better now, and even though I felt I was on her case a lot, she brings me much joy. One day she woke up an hour later than everyone, and it was so quiet and easy, but I admit a little boring. She has a great zest for life. Paulina seems to be musical. She loves to sing and knows many songs. If she hears any Disney song, she'll know what movie it came from. She even knows the Article of Faith songs though not all the words. She loves #4. She is still having trouble with her colors. She knows the names and the signs for them though. She brings so much life into our lives. So "how do you hold a moonbeam in your hand?" You don't.
