Return to J.I.

When we first got our season passes to Jungle Island, I wasn't that impressed. This is our third visit, and I have to say the kids really have a wonderful time each time they go, and we always find new things that we missed. I thought it was a rip off they wouldn't let us in to pet the animals before (only from the outside), but this time when I asked if we could go in (thought we had to pay) they said you could and no fee. Good to know. Paulina is not afraid of the animals anymore either- though a goat did bite her shirt. She always comments how she doesn't cry anymore about this and that. Even she is aware she is braver and braver and less cryee-- yes! Those crying fits did/do drive me batty! Thankfully they dissipate daily.

Just for kids to feel and see first hand different animals is great. The Apes were so smart to cover themselves in the rain!
Alex loves these penguins. Who is more curious about who?
First time to catch the alligator show. Alex took this picture. Not bad!

Ok, this was the most interesting thing to Alex. She carried it around all day. She left it on this leaf before we left and gave it a big kiss.

Ha ha. You're so good. We have a pass there too, but I'm always like - ew sick. Don't touch those animals! You might get something weird from them! You're right though, it's good for them to learn. Maybe I'll just close my eyes. :) Really, I still get exhausted just looking at your blog! You guys do SO MUCH!!!
