A Full Saturday

We started the day going out to breakfast- I think our first time as a family.  We went to IHOP.  The kids were really great.  Even the hostess flirted with my husband saying she wishes she were 20 years younger because he (my husband) makes adorable kids.  I wasn't around obviously.  We went out to find the passenger side of my car dented in.  When I open the door it makes a sad pop creak noise.  We were in a hit and run.  We followed a police report for insurance purposes and the police got there in 5 minutes.  Then we were off to the Adrienne Center for their Family Fest.  I wanted to go the last two months, but always something came up.  It was fun they had this trapeze act that was quite good and a country band afterwards.  There was creative movement activities, making masks, coloring, and painting.  Dexter was feeling a little down and just wanted to hang out in the stroller or be held.

We then went to the 9th Annual StoryTelling for the Miami Dade Library.  We went last year and Byron wasn't that impressed, but we were so close I made him stop by.  He was tired with his flat feet.  He stands too much.  I always sit wherever.  Well I am glad we went because even he admitted it was much better than last year.  The entertainment this year was top notch.  They had a Giant Puppet show of Puss and Boots.  The Puppets were impressive.  Then we saw the Pink Fairy (my kids favorite) who did magic and was very comical.  Paulina loved the Spider going up the book that she kept missing.  They had a didgeridoo (Australian instrument), and had the kids move to the different sounds he made on it.  They also had give-a ways and a jivey parade at the end.  Alex loved her face painted.  I think they captured the personalities of the girls with the rainbows.  There were many more acts that we missed, but what we saw was great.

Paulina doing her own thing.  They got the moves.
