Fun Affair

The girls and I went to an event called the Kids Konnection in Pembroke Pines.  They have local businesses come and let you know what activities they provide for children.  I didn't know what to expect, but there was a lot more than I thought there would be and it wasn't crowded at all.  When we first got there my girls went right on the train, and then Alex went on again because there was no one in line.
My girls got some make-up from a business advertising Princess Parties.  Then played with play dough.  There were a lot of stations with free give-a-ways and raffles.
Alex wanted to go on the swing ride her favorite.  I didn't think they would Paulina go because of the height requirement, but they let her go if I went on.  Well I got really nauseous, and Paulina kept telling me she wanted to spin around but I just couldn't.  It was a long ride too.  Over 5 minutes.  Come on! My girls felt nothing; I must be OLD!   The playing in the bubbles was Paulina's favorite.  Paulina went in and five minutes later she went out stripped off her pants, threw them on the ground and went back in.  Ah, Paulina.

A gymnastic business led the kids on some apparatus.
Jump houses and climbing galore.  They had 5 bounce house/climbing wall activity things.  Painting and more play dough.  Winn Dixie provided the making of a trail mix.  We took one scoop of cheerios, pretzels, peanuts, raisins, and the first to be eaten M&Ms.  Paulina found some shade under the table eating hers.  I think it's funny how she always sticks her tongue out just like she did when she was a baby.

Alex had fun pushing her sister and was proud she could push herself out of the ditch on the tractor.  Paulina kept cutting in line when my eyes weren't on her.  She really sets out to get what she wants and nothing is stopping her.

Monkey Joe's is Opening soon.  I hope I win the raffle for a free birthday party there for Paulina in August.  Haven't heard anything yet.  I'm getting the idea it's like Chucky Cheese or Dandy Bear.  You pay a set price and are able to play all day.  I may check it out.  Good ole Scooby
DOO.  The girls didn't want to leave even though it was over so we stopped by the playground for another half-hour, and I still had to force them out.
My girls' 2nd obstacle course.
